The Papio-Missouri River Natural Resources District and the Nebraska Loess Hills RC&D Council will be hosting a scrap electronics collection on Tuesday April 4th and Thursday April 6th. During these collections you can safely dispose of any old electronic devices including computers, TVs, even microwaves free of charge.
The collections will be held at the USDA/NRD offices in the following locations:
- April 4th
- 539 S. 13th St. Tekamah, NE from 10:00am – 1:00pm
- 1060 Wilbur St. Blair, NE from 3:00pm – 6:00pm
- April 6th
- 1505 Broadway Dakota City, NE from 10:00am – 1:00pm
- 106 S. Costello St. Walthill, NE from 3:00pm – 6:00pm
Things that can be recycled:
- Computers
- Monitors
- Printers
- Keyboards/Mice
- Office Equipment (Phones, Projectors, Paper Shredders, etc)
- TVs
- Media Players (DVD, VHS, BluRay, etc)
- Audio/Video Equipment (Cameras, Amplifiers, Recievers, etc)
- Microwaves
- Radios
- Other small electronic devices (cell phones, walkmans, mp3 players, etc)…
Things that are not accepted:
- Large Appliances (refrigerators, stove tops, ovens, etc)
